We are confident you will love the gentle, long-lasting aromas of our car fragrance diffusers, essential oil bottles, reed diffusers, and other home & car scents. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, this Refund and Returns Policy outlines the terms for returns and exchanges. Please read it carefully.
1. 30-DAY RETURN & EXCHANGE WINDOW
We accept returns and exchanges for most new, unused items within 30 calendar days from the date you receive your order, provided the following conditions are fully met:
- Unused & In Original Condition: The product must be in its original, brand-new, and unused condition. It must show no signs of wear, installation, damage, or alteration. This is particularly important for items like our reed diffusers and essential oil bottles to ensure safety and hygiene.
- Complete Original Packaging: All items must be returned with their original packaging, including all boxes, seals, tags, manuals, and any accessories. The product must be repackaged securely for transit.
- Proof of Purchase: You must provide a valid order number or receipt.
FINAL SALE ITEMS: The following items are NOT eligible for return or exchange:
- Products clearly marked as “Final Sale” on the product page or during promotional events like “SHOP THE SALE.”
- Any item that has been used, opened from its original sealed packaging (if applicable), or is not in its original condition.
- Items missing any part of the original packaging or accessories.
2. THE RETURNS PROCESS: STEP-BY-STEP
To ensure a smooth and authorized return, you must follow this procedure:
Step 1: Obtain a Return Authorization (RMA)

CRITICAL: Returns sent without a valid RMA number issued by our team will not be accepted at our facility and will be returned to sender or may not be processed for a refund.
Step 2: Package the Item Securely
Upon receiving your RMA number and instructions:
- Repack the item(s) securely in its original manufacturer’s packaging.
- Include all parts, accessories, and documentation.
- Place the original packaging inside a sturdy shipping box for extra protection.
- Include a copy of your order confirmation or invoice inside the box.
- Clearly write the RMA number on the outside of the shipping box.
Step 3: Ship Your Return

You are responsible for the cost of return shipping. We strongly recommend using a trackable and insured shipping service. We are not liable for returns lost or damaged in transit. Keep your shipping receipt and tracking number.
Step 4: Inspection & Processing
Once received, our team will inspect the returned item(s) to verify they meet all eligibility criteria. This process takes 5-7 business days. We will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your return.
3. REFUNDS & OUR STRICT “NO REFUND-ONLY” POLICY
- Approved Refunds: If your return is approved, your refund will be processed to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please allow 7-14 business days for the refund to appear in your account after our approval notification.
- Non-Refundable Charges: Original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error (e.g., we shipped the wrong or a defective item).
STRICT POLICY: REFUNDS REQUIRE PHYSICAL RETURN
12686074 CANADA INC. has a strict and non-negotiable policy: we do NOT process “refund-only” or “partial refund without return” requests under any circumstances. A refund is issued exclusively and solely after we have physically received the eligible item at our returns center and it has passed our inspection. We will not issue refunds based on:
- Customer dissatisfaction claims without the product being returned.
- Requests to keep the product and receive money back.
- Claims of lost packages (you must contact the shipping carrier with your tracking number).
- Claims of delayed delivery (to be resolved with the carrier).
Our refund process is integrally linked to our returns logistics. Any request for a refund must follow the official return procedure above.
4. EXCHANGES
We are happy to facilitate exchanges for a different product (e.g., a different fragrance from our collection) or variant, subject to availability.
- Follow the standard return process (Sections 1 & 2) to return the original item.
- In your initial return request, clearly state you want an exchange and specify the desired replacement product.
- Once the original return is received and approved, we will ship the replacement item to your original shipping address. If the exchange item is out of stock, we will process a refund instead.
- You are responsible for the return shipping costs for the original item. We will cover the standard shipping cost to send the replacement within Canada.
5. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT ITEMS
If you receive an item that is damaged, defective (e.g., a non-functioning diffuser), or incorrect (wrong scent/item), please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

- Upon verification of our error, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label and instructions.
- We will promptly arrange for a replacement (subject to availability) or issue a full refund, including any original shipping charges, at your discretion.
6. FINAL SALE & PROMOTIONAL ITEMS
Items purchased during special sales or promotions (like “SHOP THE SALE” offers) may be marked as Final Sale. These items are not eligible for return or refund unless they arrive damaged or defective. Specific terms will be clearly stated on the product page during the promotion.
7. INTERNATIONAL RETURNS (OUTSIDE CANADA)
For customers returning items from outside Canada:
- You are responsible for all return shipping costs, customs duties, and taxes for the return shipment.
- The returned parcel must be clearly marked as “RETURNED GOODS – CANADIAN GOODS RETURNED” on the customs declaration to avoid duty charges upon re-entry to Canada.
- Refunds will be issued for the product cost only, minus any original shipping charges.
8. NON-RETURNABLE SCENARIOS
Returns will be rejected, and refunds will not be issued, in the following cases:
- Items returned after the 30-day return period.
- Items returned without a valid RMA number on the package.
- Items not in original, resalable condition (used, damaged, incomplete packaging).
- Final sale items as defined in Sections 1 and 6.
- Any request for a refund without the physical return of the product.
- Items lost in return transit due to an uninsured or untracked shipping method chosen by the customer.
