1. Order Processing Time
All orders are processed and prepared for shipment within 1 to 3 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding Canadian national and provincial holidays) after your order is confirmed and payment is verified. You will receive an order confirmation email immediately upon successful checkout. Once your order has been packed and dispatched from our warehouse, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking information (where applicable).
2. Shipping Destinations & Carriers
We currently ship our curated home & car scents—including our car fragrance diffusers, essential oil bottles, and reed diffusers—across Canada. We are evaluating options to expand to international destinations; please check our website for future updates. We partner with reliable national carriers such as Canada Post, FedEx, and Purolator to ensure your sensory haven arrives safely.
3. Shipping Methods, Costs & Estimated Delivery Times
Shipping costs are calculated in real-time at checkout based on your delivery address within Canada, the total weight, and the dimensions of your package. We offer the following primary shipping options:
- Standard Shipping: 5-10 business days after dispatch. Our most economical option for deliveries across Canada.
- Expedited Shipping: 2-5 business days after dispatch. A faster delivery service for an additional fee.
- Express Shipping: 1-3 business days after dispatch (available for most destinations).
Important Notes on Delivery:
- All delivery timeframes are estimates provided by our carriers and are not guaranteed delivery dates. Delivery times commence from the date the order is dispatched from our warehouse, not the order date.
- Delivery may be subject to delays due to carrier processing, weather conditions, or during peak holiday seasons.
- Free Shipping Promotions: We periodically offer promotions with free standard shipping on orders over a specified amount. Any such promotion (e.g., tied to a “SHOP THE SALE” event) will be clearly advertised on our website with its specific terms and conditions.
4. Order Tracking
For most shipping methods, a tracking number will be provided in your shipping confirmation email. You can use this number on the carrier’s official website to monitor your package’s journey. Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking information to become active after you receive the dispatch notification. If you have not received a shipping confirmation with tracking within 4 business days of placing your order, please check your spam/junk folder or contact our customer service.
5. Shipping Address Accuracy
It is the customer’s responsibility to provide a complete, accurate, and deliverable shipping address at the time of checkout. 12686074 CANADA INC. is not liable for delays, failed delivery attempts, returned packages, or additional charges resulting from an incorrect or insufficient address provided by the customer. If a package is returned to us due to an address error, we will contact you. Reshipment will require a new payment for shipping charges.
6. Taxes and Duties
For orders shipped within Canada, all applicable taxes (GST/HST/PST) are calculated and charged at checkout based on your delivery province. The price you see at checkout is the final price you pay for the product and tax. We do not charge additional duties or taxes for domestic Canadian shipments.
7. Delivery & Receipt of Your Order
- Delivery Attempts: The carrier will typically make one delivery attempt. If no one is available, they may leave the package in a secure location at their discretion, leave a notification card for pickup at a local depot, or schedule a second attempt.
- Package Inspection: We recommend inspecting the external packaging for any obvious signs of damage or tampering upon delivery. If the package appears severely damaged, you have the right to refuse acceptance. If you accept a damaged package, please note the damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt (or take a photo) and contact our customer service at hygrory@12686074ca.com within 48 hours.
- Undeliverable Packages: Packages that are refused, unclaimed, or deemed undeliverable by the carrier will be returned to us. In such cases, we will contact you. A refund for the merchandise will be issued, minus the original shipping cost and any return shipping fees incurred.
8. Delayed, Lost, or Missing Packages
While we make every effort to ensure timely delivery, occasional delays beyond our control can occur. If your tracking information shows no movement for more than 10 business days past the estimated delivery date for domestic Canadian shipments, please contact us. We will initiate a trace investigation with the carrier. A package is only officially declared “lost” after confirmation from the carrier. If a shipment is confirmed lost by the carrier, we will, at your discretion and subject to stock availability, either issue a full refund for the product(s) or reship the items.
9. Order Changes, Cancellations & Address Corrections
To request a change or cancellation of your order, you must contact our Customer Service team at hygrory@12686074ca.com or call +1 (514) 340-9777 as soon as possible, ideally within 1 hour of placing the order. We will make our best effort to accommodate your request only if the order has not yet been processed for fulfillment and packing. Once an order has been packaged or shipped, we cannot cancel it or change the shipping address. If an address correction is needed after shipment, you must contact the carrier directly using the provided tracking number.
10. Returns & Exchanges – Shipping Costs
Please refer to our separate Refund and Returns Policy for complete details on returns and exchanges. Key points regarding shipping for returns are:
- The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping, unless the return is due to our error (e.g., we shipped a damaged, defective, or incorrect item).
- We strongly recommend using a trackable and insured shipping service for all returns. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit to our warehouse.
- Refunds for returned merchandise are issued for the product cost only. Original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable, except in cases of our error.
